Humanistics our history image
Our history

Our story began in March 1999, at a time when organisations were spending £ millions on new processes and technologies whilst at the same time reducing their people development budget

We wanted to reverse this trend by proving beyond any doubt that targeted investment in the development of people and teams not only delivers better results, but actually pays for itself – often within weeks!

The spark was Elaina Smith, leadership development consultant and executive coach. Elaina took her passion for designing, implementing and embedding high impact, deeply personal development journeys for leaders and coaches, and infused this with Humanistic principles of mutual respect, trust and personal responsibility to launch Humanistics
