Case Study 1 – Transformational leadership
This client’s objective was to implement a comprehensive, ‘edgy’ leadership development programme aimed at increasing maturity and capability. The focus of the programme was on equipping business leaders with the attitude and behaviours required to effectively manage the business challenges and deliver improved levels of performance
The solution was to implement a comprehensive leadership development programme followed up with personal coaching and rigorous embedding activity. The programme introduced an attitudinal and behavioural leadership framework which provided participants with a benchmark for best practice leadership behaviours.
In addition, we ran three very original 1 x day workshops each designed to build self awareness and provide essential skills to lead the business through a very challenging period and optimise performance results
• Capability within the business leader population was measured before and after the programme and showed a 40% improvement within 6 months
• Employee Opinion Surveys showed a significant increase, indicating that the improvement in leadership attitude and behaviour was having a positive affect on the experience of employees
• Performance targets were achieved, despite predications that there would be a serious shortfall
